The Goji Berry (Goji tree)

The Goji berries originate from East Asia. In the Netherlands it has the naa boksdoorn or red medlar. The berries have an orange-red colour. The berries have a diameter of 1,5-2cm. The berry grows on the Lycium barbarum bush, which grows about 3 metres high. Goji berries are sold in dried form, which makes them look a bit like sultanas, but in red.

How do you consume goji berries?

These sweet berries can be put through your yoghurt or oatmeal, added to salads or eaten separately as a snack. You can also make goji tea by soaking the berries in hot water/spice tea for 5-10 minutes.

Nutrients and usage

These goji berries are dried and 100% organic. They are red and taste sweet and sour. By drying the goji berries have very concentrated nutrients. Excellent Goji berries
I use these goji berries to add to my yoghurt. They taste great and are not at all dry! (Translated from Dutch)
