Açai Berry is a small, purple berry of the Açai palm which grows normally in the flood lands and swampy areas of the Brazilian Amazon region. Harvested twice a year, these black glittering berries are a treasure of nutrients embodying a wealth of minerals. The Açai berry seed takes about 80% of the total fruit and the seed can be used in certain animal feeds after grinding.

There are 2 speices of Acai, the Euterpe Oleracea and Euterpe Precatoria. Most of the açai readily available on the market is produced from oleracea variety. Our Açai capsules on the other hand, are made from the more unique botanical variety Euterpe Precatoria which is high in antioxidants. Our Açai is grown in Brazil.

The Maca is hand selected for the best quality and cleaned in natural water, then the Maca is dried. Using a high temperature the starch molecules are broken down, this process is called gelatinization (This has nothing to do with animal gelatin!), the extraction of the starch facilitates digestion and promotes the bioavailability of other nutrients.

A variant of the liana plant harvested in the Amazon; the skin of Guarana is red whilst the black seeds are surrounded by white flesh. These seeds contain many tannins, proteins and starch.
