The Najel Sea Sponge is a living organism from the Mediterranean sea bed. After several years of growth (1 to 2 cm per year), it is harvested by fishermen aboard trawlers. It can be used for daily cleansing and is even recommended by dermatologists to wash delicate skins, so is perfect for washing baby. The sponge is of a very high quality, and is more absorbent and lather-making than most synthetic sponges. It is highly springy and feels wonderfully soft and pleasant on skin.
