Namib's best kept secret
On the entire 1600 km long coast of Namibia lies the Namib, the oldest desert in the world. On this coast, deep-sea water from Antarctica rises up and collides with the warm air of the desert. As a result, a thick fog shrouds the water up to 200 days a year. The long coast is therefore also called the 'skeleton coast', for it is littered with the wrecks of hundreds of sunken ships.
In the interplay of constantly strong southwesterly winds, sunshine and the gentle undulations of the Atlantic Ocean, an extremely rare and very special natural form of salt is formed.
Taste and Use
The salt pans are located in nature reserves and are a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Due to the hard structure of African pearl salt, the pearls are suitable for salt grinders (as a nice alternative to the usual coarse sea salt) or as bath salts.
The taste of African pearl salt is slightly salty.

This is a very special kind of salt, you can't get this kind of salt anywhere. I really like the taste of this salt and it is organic and quite cheap.
